Mr. ilango “Precious Elements” (2025)
A Boom Bap Beat Set — Dedicated to Comic Collecting Culture
Precious Elements was performed live at The Baby G in Toronto, crafted entirely on the SP-404MKII. The 13-track beat set dives into the mind of a collector — the thrill of the hunt, the cluttered shelves, the buyer’s remorse — pulling inspiration from comic book culture and the raw emotion of collecting. Made for anyone who’s bought import figures from a local comic store or flipped through long boxes hunting for one missing issue.
